I took the end like it was all a dream. That he never woke up and now he lives in his world; he thinks its real, but by this point the line between real and not real is skewed and this way of looking at the end I think emphasizes the idea that Mau had and the theme that was carried out through the movie, that the dreams become so real that they are real.

Yeah, I understood the whole aging thing, just not why he had known at the end what the old man was going to say. So they were in that scenario twice??? How's that possible? When did the first meeting happen within the whole scheme of things verses the second meeting?

I thought when he met with the old man, they were still in the dream yes, but how did Cobb get washed up on the shore from after leaving his wife? And how did he save the old man? Another theme was that in a dream you don't know how you got there, and the movie never showed how he and the guy got out of the 4th level, like they did with the girl, making me believe more that in the end Cobb was stuck, yet ignorant.

I wondered that as well. To create one law in the movie, then not follow through with it completely was kind of weak.


Joseph Gordon Levitt was so good-looking. Tom Hardy (Eames) made me laugh so much. Good cast.
