Why Neo Mechanica is Not a Social Network
'Cause we're better than that. Neo Mechanica has some elements of a social network, plus some elements of an image board, plus some things that are exclusive to Neo Mechanica. Neo Mechanica allows you to define friends and foes, but everything is public rather than allowing only certain people to see. This opens a much broader range of conversations, ideas, and the like. The downside is that we have more potential for flame wars. But those are actually kinda fun.
