Why Neo Mechanica is not an Image Board

Because most image boards are entirely anonymous. There's no logging in, user names, etc. Although this does save some time, there's no personality to it. Neo Mechanica has some very interesting people who like to be distinguished. On a side note, no registration means lots of spam and worthless stuff. Having a name to pin to your posts means that you actually have a reputation, and therefore have to care what you're saying. We want to actually build a community, and part of that means caring.
