- Automatic PM checker
- Refreshes "(X new messages)" at set intervals, and creates the "new message" popup, if the user has that option enabled.
- Asynchronous posting/post retrieval
- This is more of a long-term idea, as it would require a lot of source modification as well as template edits and significant javascript additions.
- Ajax "Growl"-style updates
- This jQuery plugin looks like it will do the job.
